By Mark Gibson, Morna Robinson, Jane Stavrinoudis
PSCK002
This is the second book in a series which has been specifically developed to meet the needs of beginner students aged from 8 to 12 years. It is ideal for both private and group tution. Each piece features a particular teaching point such as introducing a new note, a new chord, or perhaps reinforcing previous elements or skills within a new context. To assist both the teacher and the student, the main teaching point relevant to each piece appears underneath its title. Other teaching points will become self evident as the pieces become more familiar.
The Encore on Keys Primary Piano Series employs several unique approaches to develop skills. understanding and knowledge. Some of the key features are:
- Finger Zips - small pieces that develop keyboard skills on a micro level
- Repertoire Pieces - solo performance pieces
