The Bow Hold Buddies Set for violin is a teaching aid that will help fix a violin bow hold in an instant!

If you are having trouble forming a correct violin bow hold, then this is the perfect violin teaching aid for you. Once installed on your bow, the clever frog and fish shaped device will guide your hand into the right position.

The frog encourages a curved thumb and positions your hand on an angle, while the fish on the end is a pinky rest that helps enforce a rounded pinky finger. Together, the frog and fish train the hand to hold the bow correctly and naturally through muscle memory, thereby freeing the player to learn and enjoy other elements of string playing.

We recommend using the teaching aid two weeks on and two weeks off repetitively until you see improvement, so that the player does not become completely reliant on the aid. If you’re having trouble storing the bow in your case in the bow spinner, we recommend not using the bow spinner at all and simply lying the bow down in your case on top of a soft case cover, thereby preventing any damage to your instrument.
