Our no-compromise Tube Logic design approach brings you full-bodied sounds for every genre, including searing high-gain solo sounds and tight metal rhythm tones dripping with saturation and harmonic complexity.

Classic Katana Tones

Katana-Mini X features versatile amp characters derived from their stage-class Katana amp series. Three core amp sounds are available, along with a tonal variation that’s accessible with a panel switch. One variation is an uncolored clean sound for using Katana-Mini X with an acoustic-electric guitar or bass.

KATANA-MINI X

Amp Type:

  • Brown: Signature Katana high-gain sound inspired by the finest hard rock tones of all time. Provides tighter lows and crisper highs for precision high-gain riffing.
  • Crunch: A fat and expressive mid-gain sound that responds to volume changes and picking dynamics. Adds smooth yet cutting high-end for more aggressive playing styles.
  • Clean: Use the Gain knob to go from natural clean to slightly driven sounds. This amp type also provides a great platform for external effects. A flat amp tone that’s ideal for acoustic-electric guitar and electric bass.

Katana-Mini X comes packed with powerful tools to take your music to the next level. The convenient rechargeable battery allows you to move to different rooms or outdoor locations without the hassle of AC power. Bluetooth support lets you jam with music from your mobile device and use the amp as a portable speaker for casual music playback. The onboard guitar/bass tuner is always at the ready with a quick button press. And when you want to play quietly, you can plug in headphones and enjoy high-quality tones with built-in cabinet simulation and stereo effects.

Shape Your Sound

Katana-Mini X features a traditional analog tone stack for natural sound shaping using familiar bass, mid, and treble controls. MOD/FX and REV/DLY sections are also on hand, each with a diverse range of BOSS effects and fast sound tweaks via single-knob controls that adjust multiple parameters at once. Both sections can be used simultaneously, letting you create combinations such as tremolo and spring reverb, phaser and delay, and many others.
